Educação

Education is free and compulsory for all children
between 6 and 15 years. The educational system is divided
into five stages: kindergarten, children one to three years,
six years of primary school, the gym 1st degree three years
the college 2nd degree three years and the university in general
four years. Moreover, there is ample supply of post-graduate
advanced studies.
The administration of the educational system of Japan is
decentralized, and the role of the Ministry of Education, Culture,
Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) is the overall coordinator.
